A Moment Of Orangutan Birthday Zen...

When you're on the wrong side of 30, there's nothing like a birthday feast of berries, peanut butter, monkey chow and raspberry mousse to make you feel younger.

That's what Robin, the Denver Zoo's Orangutan ate today in celebration of his 32nd birthday.

Orangutans can live up to 60 years in zoos, spokeswoman Ana Bowie said.

Robin's birthday cake was layered with the monkey chow, berries and mousse, and he topped off the feast with sugar-free candy and popcorn.

This weekend, in celebration of APE-ril, the Denver Zoo will show guests how apes interact, what they eat, why they are endangered and what the zoo is doing to try to help them.

Story here.
